members of the Scout Association wear a uniform to show we belong. We
wear it at the beginning and end of meetings and sometimes on activities
away from base. At other times we wear casual clothes or appropriate
adventure gear. Like all Scouts everywhere in the world we have a Group
scarf (also known as a neckerchief or 'necker'). We wear that most of
the time so we can spot each other in a crowd and also to show how proud
we are to belong to the 14th. The uniform shirt is where we sew on our
ID badges and the ones we earn for activities and adventures.
